I am happy to publish the McLoughlin Family Tree. This project started out as a simple task of just putting some information together, but as I proceeded, it became a little more complex...the research through old papers, many phone calls, two trips to Baltinglass to take pictures, etc., however, it was worth the effort.

I have scanned all of the photographs I have received from family members. I would encourage my family to send in updated photos as the years go by. Every effort has been made to have the names, addresses and phone numbers correct. Let me know if any corrections need to be made--my email address is eilismcl@aol.com.

While speaking with Kathleen Evans some weeks ago I mentioned that I had "finished" the Family Tree. She replied, "You know, Matt, it will never be finished, there will always be additions and deletions--it is a living document". I never thought about it that way but Kathleen is right. I hope therefore that someone will take on the job of keeping up or in fact expanding their "branch" of the family tree.

You will notice question marks at the top of the Family Tree. If anyone has information regarding the name of my great-great-grandfather, his wife's maiden name, and the names of his brothers and sisters, please send them to me.

Under "Miscellaneous" I have included some old letters of general interest regarding my father.
